ok long story short....mom found a place to buy in my hometown and so she bought it so she could get back up to the mountains to be near her grandbabies, and i had been reading the writing on the wall at work for a while, so decided it was time for a change for me as well. so i left my job with the plan to get mom and i moved up, get her settled in, and then go on to buffalo myself to find work and try to learn sound engineering on the side. ah, but the best laid plans right?… Continue

woohoo! i get to go to buffalo pride! AND hang out with the bestest big brother ever---shan!!!! oh lord look out the bars don't close til 4am and we'll be terrorizin the ladies...ok, well shan isn't single so I'LL be terrorizin the ladies hahahaha....now if only i had a clue as to what clothes to take...no idea what the buffalo dykes are goin for these days....

So...Buffalo...what can I say? Sure it's small as far as cities go I suppose, and yes it's not unheard of to have several feet of snow drop on the city in one fell swoop during winter...which lasts about 6 months if you're lucky.

Yet it appears as though, if I listen to the soft voices on the winds (which admittedly I have not been heeding properly much of late), Buffalo is calling.

so, in light of all that's been going on with amazon lately, can i just point out that i've been getting thoroughly frustrated with bookstores in general the last couple months? i went to my local borders recently, and as always, made a beeline back for the small LGBT section....now, it's never been a large section (though i remember back in college when barnes and noble actually had a reasonably sized LGBT section...at least in squirrel hill in pittsburgh...which might explain it...) but alas,… Continue
